Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota in the first half of 2026 totaled 69.74 million gallons, according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. For the month of June, Unleaded 88 sales totaled 12.13 million gallons, marginally lower than the 12.7 million gallons recorded in May as fewer stations reported their sales in June (413) than May (422). With gas prices surging in May, Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota reached a new all-time high with 12.73 million gallons sold. According to data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, the 12.73 million gallons sold in May is the highest monthly volume recorded in Minnesota. Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota during the month of April reached 11.8 million gallons, according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The volume sold in April was slightly higher the 11.38 million gallons recorded in March despite fewer stations reporting their sales in April (421 stations) than March (430 stations).
