GASOLINE

Gasoline‒it’s what we know. Our great-great-grandparents knew it, too. The hydrocarbon has been with us more than a hundred years and it fueled The American Century from humble beginnings on rutted gravel roads to today’s 48,440 miles of asphalt within the Interstate Highway System. Leaf Peeping Routes

We may be biased, but Minnesota has to be one of the best places to live in the entire US. In fact, that’s actually proven to be true. Depending on the source, our state is ranked the second or third best throughout the nation. The natural environment always plays a role in putting us at the top of the list. Educational materials and big fuel discounts are also given away. The local county Corn and Soybean Growers Associations do a great job taking fuel promotions to […]

That avocado green 1972 Chevrolet Impala with black vinyl top was purchased from my maternal grandmother. Her name was Jenny—the car’s, not my grandma’s. Waiting to drive was excruciating for a youngest-in-his-class teenager. One can only polish a car so many times while it’s parked, dripping fluids on your dad’s driveway. Sadly, […]
