Upcoming Fueling Infrastructure Grant Programs

With several upcoming grant opportunities, now is a great time for retail fuel locations to look into adding more ethanol blends for customers. That’s good news for fuel retailers and consumers in Minnesota! Last month, the USDA announced that they will make $100 million available for biofuel infrastructure grants. This funding may look like the Higher Blends Infrastructure Incentive Program (HBIIP) grants the USDA awarded during two rounds in recent years. New Stations Fueling Us Through 2021

We are finishing out the year strong with several fuel stations adding ethanol blends this past summer and fall. The new locations are spread throughout the state, allowing customers easier access to renewable fuels. Towns such as Cohasset and Ogilvie are welcoming their first stations with E85 and Unleaded 88. Smaller towns like these are beacons to ethanol users in Greater Minnesota who want to fill up on cleaner-burning fuels.
