Grant Available for Service Stations to Add Higher Ethanol Blends

A new Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) grant is available to help Minnesota service stations who want to offer customers more and greener options at the pump. The Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) Biofuels Infrastructure Grant Program will award up to $6.6 million to offset the cost of investing in retail petroleum dispensers, fuel storage tanks, and other equipment certified as compatible with blends of motor fuel containing at least 25% ethanol. Applicants must be a retail petroleum provider in Minnesota with no more than 10 locations. Separate applications must be submitted for each site in Minnesota seeking funding. […]

The MN Ag Expo took place January 19 – 20 at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato. This annual event is hosted by the Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) and the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA). The event brought together farmers who had the opportunity to connect with fellow growers, listen to speakers and interact with dozens of organizations.
