National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day

National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day recognizes and appreciates small business owners each year on March 29. It is believed that the day was founded by Rick Segel in honor of his parents who successfully opened a hat shop in 1939 called Ruth’s in Everett, Massachusetts. We’d rather remind all who will listen that greener renewable-based, ethanol-blended fuels can keep more green in your pocket while also supporting agriculture and the Minnesota economy. If you haven’t made the switch to Unleaded 88, there’s no better […]

Achieve Net-Zero Carbon Emissions Well Before 2050

According to a new report by The Renewable Fuels Association, the pledge to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, on average, by 2050 may be achieved sooner than expected. The ethanol industry has already made significant strides to reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions. Currently, corn ethanol reduces GHGs by 50 percent compared to gasoline. Although the industry has made significant strides to reduce GHG emissions, this report provides a roadmap for even more success.   The report prepared by Isaac Emery, Ph.D., presents a series of pathways to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 by surveying over twenty-four potential emissions reduction […]
