A total of 57.83 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold in the first five months of 2025 in Minnesota, according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
The total volume sold from January to May this year was slightly higher than the 57.64 million gallons recorded over the same period in 2024.
In May, the department of commerce said 12.2 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold, similar to the 12.69 million gallons sold in May 2024.
The volume in May was the second time monthly Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota exceeded the 12-million-gallon mark this year. It had previously surpassed that level in January with 12.02 million gallons sold.
In 2024, monthly Unleaded 88 sales finished above 12 million gallons six times (May, June, July, August, October and December).
