The USDA today announced it was funding 22 projects in Minnesota to expand the availability of Unleaded 88 and other higher blends of ethanol.
Of the 22 stations, 15 will receive funding to install Unleaded 88 dispensers and ethanol storage tanks. These stations are located in Alexandria, Crow Wing (four stations), Cushing, Detroit Lakes, East Bethel, Lutsen, Medford, Parkers Prairie, Pennington, Shakopee, Stillwater and Wadena.
The other recipients of the funding will be used for the installation of dispensers of higher blends like E25 and E85 and ethanol storage tanks. Those stations are located in Badger, Elbow Lake, Greenbush, Litchfield, McIntosh, Oklee and St Cloud.
In total, the USDA provided infrastructure funding to expand access to Unleaded 88 and higher bends of ethanol in 24 states. The full list of recipients can be found here.
