From January to August this year, 94.42 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold in Minnesota. During that period, according to data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, the average price difference between Unleaded 88 and regular 87 octane fuel was 13 cents a gallon.
This amounted to savings of $12.27 million for Minnesotans at the pump.
