A new study released last week says Unleaded 88 could save Minnesotans $166.7 million at the pump from 2026 to 2030.
The study, Cumulative Effects of E15 Sales to Minnesota Consumers, by Decision Innovation Solutions said cumulative savings from Unleaded 88 in Minnesota from 2013 to 2024 amounted to $79.5 million.
The savings, however, are expected to grow further from 2026 to 2030.
The study said total savings from Unleaded 88 from 2013 to 2030 is estimated at $272 million with $166.7 million to be realized from 2026 to 2030.
