The Minnesota Corn Growers (MCGA) and the Clean Air Choice Team have long been working together to reach and educate drivers about fuel options and the benefits of using fuel blended with ethanol. One way they have spread the word is through direct engagement, via boots on the ground events at fuel stations. At these events, staff and corn growers talk with drivers and offer discounts to those who choose to use ethanol blends like E85 or E15 (also known as 88 octane gasoline). Five such promotional events will take place in and around the metro throughout November. Below is a list of the upcoming locations, dates, and times. If you are driving through one of these areas, stop in for great deals on fuel!

Higher blends of ethanol fuels, like E85 and E30, are for use in flex fuel vehicles (FFVs) only. FFVs use ethanol blends or gas interchangeably. If you’re not sure whether your vehicle can use E85, check for a yellow fuel cap, or use the MNFuels.com search function to see if your car is capable of using flex fuels.
88 octane gasoline has been approved by the U.S. EPA for use in 2001 and newer gasoline vehicles.
There is a 30 gallon limit per vehicle at these events.
