Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota in July totaled 12.36 million gallons, according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
The volume sold in July represented a 4 percent increase from the volume sold in June (11.86 million gallons).
On a year-to-date basis, 82.2 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold from January to July in Minnesota, similar to the amount sold during the same period in 2024 (82.51 million gallons).
During this period, the average price differential between regular 87 octane and Unleaded 88 was 13 cents a gallon. This amounted to total savings of $10.68 million for Minnesotans at the pump from January to July this year.
